Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
4 slices of cheddar cheese
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
4 lettuce leaves or low-carb tortillas for serving
Preparation
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients.
Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and swirl to coat the bottom of the skillet.
Add the burger patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until they are browned and cooked through.
Top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and cover the skillet with a lid. Let the cheese melt for about 1-2 minutes.
