Ingredients
For the burger:
1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices of cheddar cheese
4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
For the bowl:
4 cups chopped lettuce
1 small red onion, sliced
1 small red bell pepper, sliced
1 small yellow bell pepper, sliced
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup sliced dill pickles
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
For the dressing:
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces with a wooden spoon, about 5-7 minutes.
Season the ground beef with salt and pepper to taste.
Divide the beef into four equal portions and form them into patties.
Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat and grill the burgers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
In a large salad bowl, combine chopped lettuce, sliced red onion, red and yellow bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, sliced dill pickles, and chopped parsley.
Divide the salad mixture into four bowls.
Top each bowl with a grilled burger patty, a slice of cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon.
Drizzle the dressing over the top of each bowl.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
